We’ve made it to Friday. And for those of us in the northeast, we even survived a snow storm on the first day of spring. Any good plans on deck for the weekend? I’m planning to waddle my way to some eateries around the city and to take Jameson to an Easter Egg Hunt being hosted by our church. Last year’s interaction with the Easter Bunny brought on nothing less than complete terror for Jameson, so let’s hope our little guy manages to pose for just one half-decent photo with the bunny.
Happy New Year, friends! I hope you had a great holiday and are feeling hopeful about your 2018. We had a pretty low key holiday that involved being in New York with family for Christmas and then spending a few days in D.C. to catch up with more family and friends.
As I’m taking stock of 2017, and particularly how this blog of mine has grown over the year, I’m incredibly grateful for all of you who take the time to read about my random adventures. Whether I’m trying to make sense of my role as a wife and parent, doing my best to try all the tastiest things in NYC (and afar), or looking for ways to enjoy life’s simple gifts, I so appreciate you being on the journey with me.
