Your love was like moonlight
turning harsh things to beauty

– “Mother,” by Lola Ridge

Mother’s Day is approaching, and if you’re anything like me, it’s easy to be caught slipping and stuck trying to find the perfect gift at the last moment.

For all of us looking for a little gift inspiration for showing the moms in our life how much we care, here’s a little round up of things I’ve gifted, have received, or would love to receive!

A comfy set
I own this one in a navy color (previous season), and putting this on at the end of the day sends a signal to my brain that I’m officially in ‘rest mode.’

A sling to stay hands-free
I’m a little embarrassed to admit I did an absurd amount of sling research before choosing this one, and I love it. You could also go higher end with this one.

A custom cup
That’s monogrammed and all her own — not to be lost at school, practice, or other random places.

A candle to set the mood
These ones from TOV Home are throughout my home, and hand-poured by a fellow mom.

A necklace set
Easily worn separate or together, these are simple, beautiful, and come with a guarantee in case they ever get damaged.

A custom scent
Send or take her to a place where she can create a custom scent. In NYC, try Olfactory NYC, or do a quick search for a similar spot near you. You could also gift her with a classic fave scent around the world.

An assortment of goodies
Gather a bunch of her favorite snacks, drinks, and goodies. Some Trader Joe’s faves are the chocolate covered almonds, the sour swimmers, and the mini cones. Bonus if you throw in a bouquet of flowers from TJ’s too.

A place to see her loved ones and special moments
This frame is easily the favorite gift Jordan and I have given both our moms. Multiple people can upload an unlimited number of photos and videos to the frame.

A night away
This has become my favorite Mother’s Day tradition and gift. I spend the Friday night before Mother’s Day in a hotel on my own. I watch what I want on tv, eat good food, journal, nap — whatever I want! And then I’m home by Saturday afternoon, ready to enjoy the festivities that Mother’s Day will bring.

And if you still need more ideas, here are some of my gift guides from previous years…
