I’m here with the final week of outfits from my summer capsule wardrobe! It’s been an experimental time of having packed away 75% of my closet and choosing to live with just 38 items (tops, bottoms, dresses, shoes) for 30 days. If you’ve never heard of a capsule wardrobe, or you’re considering it for yourself, I’m sharing my outfits so you can get a sense of how this whole thing works. You can catch up on what I wore during week one (here), week two (here), and week three (here).
Week 4 was a pretty relaxed week, and I tried to make a conscious effort to wear things I hadn’t worn up until this point. It’s hard to believe that with a wardrobe so small, there were still seven or eight items I hadn’t worn.
Here’s a look at Week 4…
Wearing: Blue floral chiffon dress from Forever 21 (old), Cardigan (similar), Sandals from boutique in Jamaica.
Wearing: Floral t-shirt, Distressed denim shorts (sold out, similar), and these sandals. *Side note: When I looked at this photo, I definitely thought there was a piece of fuzz on my screen and tried to wipe it off before realizing what I was seeing was actually a random scraggly grey hair popping off the front of my head! Smh.
Wearing: Silk floral blouse from Anthropologie (old), Blue high-rise jeans, sandals from boutique in Jamaica
And that’s Week 4! Thanks to so many of you for cheering me on as I posed awkwardly to capture the past four weeks of outfits. :-) Hopefully you found it helpful to see the different options that can come from a small wardrobe.
I’ll be putting together a wrap up post early next week with my thoughts and tips on creating a capsule wardrobe, so let me know if you have any specific questions you’d like me to answer!
