This week’s favorites

Things were a little off-kilter this week, as Jordan got hit with a stomach virus that seems to be going around NYC. He’s back to normal, and I’m glad to return to having just one baby in the house to take care of. :-)

We managed to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather, and I love the energy of NYC when the weather is warm. I think we’ll be spending a good deal of time on the swings this spring.

Here are some quick highlights from the week…

I know this video was circulated a couple weeks ago, but it still cracks me up every.single.time. To the point that Jordan and I now find ways to quote it on a regular basis. If you haven’t seen it, ladies and gentlemen, I give you Ms. Flossie Dickey. If you just watch up to 01:40, you’ll get the best parts. Here’s to getting older and not caring what people think.

I crossed another thing off of my NYC bucket list on Tuesday, when a friend invited me and Jameson to check out the MoMa using a free pass she had. Listening to the audio tour was an #absolutefail, since Jameson kept pulling the headphones out of my ears and trying to chew them, but I did have a great time catching up with my girlfriend, seeing renowned pieces like Starry Night by Van Gogh and Monet’s Water Lilies, and trying my hardest to interpret the live installation piece that had people slo-motion rolling around on the floor throughout the museum (I’m not quite deep enough).

And speaking of babies chewing things, I picked up a necklace from Chewable Charm this week to hopefully help soothe Jameson’s aching gums. These make a great gift if a momma you know needs something like this.
